Create a marketing video in 4 steps with ChatGPT

Creating a marketing video has traditionally been time-consuming and expensive.

Until now.

Thanks to ChatGPT’s Visla plugin, marketers can now create videos in just 4 steps. 

We decided to put this to the test and create our very own video for AI Marketing School.

The process

1. Open ChatGPT and install the Visla plugin.

2. Enter the prompt: “I want to create a storytelling video for my [insert business] using Visla Plugin. Brainstorm the other things about the video that Visla plugin takes as input and outline them below."

3. If it looks good, tell ChatGPT to go ahead and create the video.

4. Click the link and watch the video. You can then save or edit by creating a Visla account.

The results

As you can see, the first version was a bit clunky. We went back to the drawing board and asked ChatGPT to improve the script, providing key points that we’d like to cover.

The updated version was a lot better—so I told ChatGPT to go ahead and create the video.

Here’s what it produced.

The verdict

• These videos are far from perfect. In their current state, we wouldn’t recommend marketers use them in their campaigns.

• However, we’re not too far away from AI-generated videos being perfect for marketing campaigns.

• All they need are higher-quality voice-overs and better images. That’s it.
