TOOLS UPDATE
Why Google Bard is now a must-use marketing assistant
Google’s AI tool Bard now integrates with your entire Google ecosystem: Gmail, Docs, Drive, you name it.
This is transformative for marketers that use Google’s suite of products.
You can essentially use Bard to be your very own marketing assistant. It can instantly pull data from different apps, collate everything in a single place, and use this information to create new marketing materials.
Examples: Using Bard for marketing
Bard’s new update means you can now:
Ask it to create a marketing activation plan based on an email your CEO/CMO sent you.
Create a meta description for a piece of content you’ve written in Google Docs.
Rapidly find documents hidden somewhere in your Google Drive.
Identify hallucinations by clicking the ‘Google It’ button. Any statement that it can verify with a Google search will be highlighted in green, while unvalidated answers will turn orange.
And much, much more.

OpenAI to integrate Dall-E 3 into the ChatGPT Plus interface
OpenAI has just given us a first glimpse of Dall-E 3, the latest version of its text-to-image AI tool, which is set to go live in October.
It looks incredibly impressive.
Dall-E 3 is far better than its predecessors at handling images with numbers or letters. Plus, it can also produce images with hands, something many AI image generation tools still struggle with.
Excitingly, ChatGPT Plus users will be able to use Dall-E 3 from within the ChatGPT interface. No more bouncing around from one tool to the next.
For example, if you’re using ChatGPT to brainstorm your company’s rebrand, you can ask it to mock up potential new logos.
Why should marketers care?
Dall-E 3 is more capable than its predecessor of producing images from multi-paragraph descriptions. It can handle far more context.
If you already pay for ChatGPT plus then Dall-E 3 will be effectively free (unlike Midjourney).
Its integration into the ChatGPT interface could save you a surprising amount of time. Some studies estimate the average person wastes 47 minutes per day switching between apps.
