AI IN ACTION

Here’s how I launched a new service in 8 steps with AI

I’ve been thinking about how I can add more value as a B2B content strategist and copywriter.

And then it hit me.

What if I created a service specifically targeted at VC-funded startups?

These businesses have 1,001 things on their plate—so content often falls down the pecking order.

But this is like stepping over $100 notes to pick up nickels.

Content is the rocket fuel that powers growth. It creates awareness, builds trust, and generates sales.

So, how can time-pressed startups create killer content with next-to-no effort?

By outsourcing the process to an expert like me.

Here’s how I used ChatGPT to go from idea to offer.

The 8-step process

Access the entire chat here.

  1. Brainstorm: I told ChatGPT that I'm a freelance B2B content strategist and copywriter who wants to introduce a package aimed at VC-funded startups.

Then, I asked what sort of services this audience would find valuable—and why.

  2. Create package: ChatGPT’s suggestions were spot on. Next, I wanted to bundle them up into an attractive package.

For guidance, I told it to draw on lessons from Alex Hormozi’s bestselling book $100M Offers: How To Make Offers So Good People Feel Stupid Saying No.

  3. Analyze suggestions: It suggested three different package at the following pricing tiers: $3,000, $6,000, and $12,000 per month.

I asked for clarification on one bullet point—the precise deliverables for ‘Content Strategy Development’—but everything else was perfect.

  4. Create landing page: I then asked it to create mock landing page copy using common direct response copywriting principles.

For guidance, I told it to take inspiration from famous copywriters like Gary Halbert, David Ogilvy, and Eugene Schwartz.

  5. Critique: The landing page copy was a decent first start. However, it wasn’t perfect.

I told ChatGPT to ask a direct response copywriter and a target buyer (e.g. a VC-funded startup) to critique the page. It adopted these personas and gave me a list of hyper-specific recommendations

  6. Implement the suggestions: These included adding an FAQ section for clarity and tapping into emotional pain points.

  1. Final review: I wanted to double check everything looked good. So, I asked ChatGPT: “If this is a 7/10, what does a 10/10 look like?”.

Then, I asked it to implement the suggestions it provided.

  1. Create the page: Last but not least, I logged into Squarespace and created the page.
