TOOLS UPDATE
ChatGPT just got a couple of HUGE upgrades
Tired of typing endless prompts into ChatGPT?
If so, you’ll be delighted to hear that it now possesses voice conversation capabilities.
This means you can speak to ChatGPT and receive a verbal response—much like you do with Alexa and Siri.
That’s not all.
OpenAI has also announced that users can submit images into their prompts. For example, you can upload an image of your website and ask how to make the design more appealing to enterprise buyers.
Note: OpenAI is gradually rolling out these capabilities, so don’t worry if you can’t yet access these features.
How this helps marketers
Brainstorm design: Upload an image of your landing page, logo, newsletter, or other marketing materials and ask ChatGPT to critique the design. You can even show it a picture of your product and ask it to come up with a suitable tagline.
Interact with AI while on the go: Talk back and forth with ChatGPT when you’re away from your desk, or ping it a quick question during a meeting.
Multitask more effectively: Fire off voice commands to ChatGPT while working on something else. Use it to bounce ideas back and forth, just as you would with a colleague.
TODAY’S AI MARKETING EXAMPLE
Translating videos with HeyGen
Localizing content is a fantastic way to broaden your company’s appeal and enter new markets.
And now, thanks to AI, localization is easier than ever before.
We recently had some fun using HeyGen’s Video Translate feature to turn the audio of Tom’s intro to our AI Marketing Masterclass (English link) into Spanish.
A few thoughts
We used the free plan and the video took about a week (yes, a week!) to render.
If you want instant results, you’ll have to pay $48 per month for Creator mode.
We’re unsure how accurate the translation is—some other examples shared online have been criticized by native speakers.
That said, it’s pretty cool that HeyGen matches up the audio and video to make it seem like the speaker is talking in the chosen language.
Once they get the translation nailed down then this could be a fantastic tool for localizing marketing content.
AI IN ACTION
AI sellers: sales on steroids
Salespeople are known for being good talkers. However, even the most productive salesperson needs a break.
If only there was a way salespeople could sell 24/7/365.
Enter: AI deepfakes.
AI-generated deepfake influencers have exploded in popularity on China’s largest e-commerce streaming platforms.
All companies have to do is submit a few minutes’ worth of video showing the real-life influencer in action, provide some basic information regarding the product, review the generated script, and pay around $1,000 in costs.
Then, they have their own AI influencer who can sell nonstop.
