RESULTS ROUNDUP

Here are the results from our latest experiments:

  • AI influencer 100 followers in month 1 - on track: Our AI influencer, Naomi Knight, has gained 53 followers in her/our first week. With 11 days left in September, we’re confident we can reach the 100 follower mark by the end of the month.

Thanks to everyone who’s followed her—and if you haven’t already, do it now!

  • Ad copy - Hormozi won: In Friday’s edition, we used AI to test out David Ogilvy, Kris Jenner, and Alex Hormozi-inspired ad copy. The Alex Hormozi x AI crossover was the clear winner.

However, this might be due to the highly ambitious “10X Your Engagement or Your Money Back” offer that ChatGPT/Hormozi crafted.

AI IN ACTION

Coca-Cola launches AI-generated product, Coca-Cola Y3000

Coca-Cola has released Coca-Cola Y3000, a futuristic drink co-created with human and artificial intelligence.

The company asked consumers to envision what a Coke from the year 3,000 might taste and look like. Then, it combined these perspectives with insights gathered from its proprietary AI systems to create the new limited-edition drink.

Coca-Cola has also launched a new AI-powered fan experience to promote Coca-Cola Y3000. Consumers scan an on-pack QR code to access the Coca-Cola Creations Hub. They can then use the custom Y3000 AI Cam to envision what the world around them might look like in the year 3,000.

“After leaning into Augmented Reality last year, we’re embracing the power of AI and continuing to build our company’s capabilities in this exciting space. Coca‑Cola Creations has created new pathways to deepen our engagement with existing fans and those who may not have considered the brand before,” says Oana Vlad, Senior Director, Global Strategy, The Coca‑Cola Company.

NEW TOOLS

Amazon launches generative AI tool to help sellers write product descriptions

Amazon has released a new set of generative AI capabilities to help sellers easily craft engaging, effective product listings.

All you have to do is provide a brief description of your product in a few words or sentences. Then, Amazon will generate compelling product titles, bullet points, and descriptions for review.

It’s that simple.

PROMPTING MAGIC

Summarize complex articles with ChatGPT

ChatGPT can sometimes miss key details when summarizing complex articles. Thankfully, Wharton professor Ethan Mollick has come up with a perfect solution: the chain of density approach.

AI RESEARCH

ChatGPT-4 boosts consultants’ performance by 40%

Wharton professor Ethan Mollick (him again!) and a team of social scientists spent the last several months testing whether using ChatGPT-4 improved Boston Consulting Group (BCG) consultants’ performance.

The verdict? It did—and by a lot.

The results

  • Consultants using AI finished 12.2% more tasks on average, completing tasks 25.1% more quickly.

  • And they produced 40% higher quality results.

  • Interestingly, it was most useful for consultants who scored the worst on the initial baseline test at the start of the experiment.
